The Community
The Nawayath are an Arab-origin Muslim community of the Konkan coast, settled for centuries along the shores of Karnataka. For generations, the maktab — the community learning centre — stood at the heart of every Nawayath street, producing scholars, traders, and thinkers who shaped the region. That devotion to education is not history — it is the foundation on which SkillNawayath is built.
The Platform
Established in 2000, SkillNawayath was created to carry that tradition forward — providing structured, purposeful learning that reflects the community's values of rigour, reflection, and growth. Our mission is to instil the ability to strive, to think soundly, and to grow with every experience.
